Web Timelines - Demo Movie

Wednesday, June 08, 2011

Since we released Timeline 3D (v3) last month we have had several hundred customers publish their timelines to the web. Have you published a timeline yet?

Elise put together a short demo movie to show you how you can publish your own web timeline and how to manage your web timelines. Please check out the video and give publishing try if you haven’t already.

Hi Adam,

I just got your greeting post-card in the mail yesterday, Thank you!

I have a question about access to web-hosted timelines made by registered users. Can I search or browse any timelines created by others in a certain place? My impression of the web-hosted ones is that maybe we can exchange our beloved timeline files and gain knowledge from there. I would very much like to have a portal or show-case site that we, as creators of all kinds of chronicles, can communicate, discuss and improve by learning from each other.

Thanks,
-Jenny from Missouri

Jenny,

Thank you for your suggestion. At this time we are not working on assembling a publicly searchable archive of timelines or events. I recommend searching Wikipedia for chronologies, there is a lot of great public information there that can be used in your own timelines.

I'm trying to view this movie, but it only shows as a .jpg

Beth, if you click the poster image it will take you to the movie page. Click it one more time on that page to play.

Hi Adam

I've been trying to publish some timelines to the web and every time I got the same problem: when I click the link it says page not found, probably your timeline was deleted in the uploading process.

Could you fix this?

Thanks!

mpenalba – Please send us an e-mail at support@beedocs.com with the URL for the timeline you are trying access. I would be happy to help you debug the issue. Thanks!
