eBook Timelines with iBooks Author
Tuesday, April 10, 2012
Last week I released new versions of Easy Timeline and Timeline 3D that add new features allowing you to optimize timeline exports for the iPad. I created a tutorial movie that demonstrates how to use these features to make an eBook using iBooks Author.
Please enjoy the video and the new features. I‘d appreciate your feedback, and would love to see any books that you create with this technology.
PS - Yes, I am working on an iPad version of the software. Stay tuned to this blog in the coming months for details.

You made my day!
Thanks
Hello,
Firstable, thanks for all the job.
I have several issues that I'd like to be solved :
- List view in the widget is displaying the same picture (the first).
- Can't we see the dates on the bottom lines ?
- By the way, in the Timeline 3D, when choosing "Enregistrement..." a button show "Acheter une License...", which should be "Acheter une licence..." in French.
Aimline,
Please contact me directly at support@beedocs.com and I will be happy to help you solve the widget issues.
The widget doesn't really create a timeline, now does it? It creates a slide of a single event, not a representation of that event relative to others (which is of course the entire point of a timeline), nor is it possible to have more than one timeline (say of two countries during a particular period). Why not have the option of a window space that a long timeline can be viewed in, allowing the user to scroll to see more events? Oh well. Rather disappointing.
