BEEDOCS Rewards Donations to Haiti

Monday, January 18, 2010

Our hearts and minds have been with the people of Haiti since the devastating January 7 earthquake. International outpouring of aid for Haiti has been massive, but the need is still great. We put our heads together to decide how BEEDOCS can take part.

BEEDOCS would like to encourage disaster relief donations by giving away a free Bee Docs Timeline 3D license ($65 value) to anyone who donates $100 or more to a charitable organization providing aid to the people of Haiti.

Here are the rules:

  1. Your donation can be dated from any time between January 7, 2010 and January 22, 2010. You may choose any non-profit organization providing relief work in Haiti.

  2. Send proof of donation to elise@beedocs.com by the end of the day on Friday January 22, 2001. Proof of donation includes, but is not limited to: an electronic receipt, photo of a receipt, or your name on a Donor list.

  3. If you would like us to send the license to someone else on your behalf, please make note of that in the e-mail.

We will issue the complementary licenses next week. We won’t spam you or anything, we will only use your information to send you a license.

If you have yet to make a donation to the relief effort, here are some that we have personally supported:

Charity Navigator is a great resource to help you decide where to give.

Please help us spread the word!

If you are a software developer and you would like to join us or follow suit in this effort, we’d like to hear from you too.

Thanks,

Elise Hunt & Adam Behringer

Adam, Elise, a great gesture on your part. I've posted this offer in the relevant threads at www.ehMac.ca - Canada's Mac Users forum.

Thank you!
Mark
